e-Technology Basics

A webinar series designed for physicians and their staffs focuses on e-prescribing, e-portals, shared experiences of primary care practices and an introduction to the e-Forum. In addition Physicians are invited to participate in an electronic forum to share concerns, challenges, successes and questions with electronic medical records and related issues.

 

Diabetes Performance Improvement Collaborative

The initiative focuses on improving the management and treatment of diabetic patients. The purpose is to begin to encourage the expanded adoption of PI CME tools and techniques among state medical society providers.

Navigating the CME Environment

The new focus for CME is answering this question: "Did the CME make a difference to physician practices?" You are invited to listen to these brief conversations with CME experts representing various areas of CME influence and people outside the CME enterprise shaping the way CME is conducted.

A Physicians Guide to Evidence-Based Information

An educational service from the Physicians' Institute to make you a more confident and skilled user of medical information. These materials will give you a framework for answering clinical questions, introduce evidence-based sources of information and assist in choosing a handheld computer.

Performance Improvement-CME Training

In June 2008 an initial educational activity was provided to Georgia and Florida CME providers, interested in performance improvement activities designed to improve clinical practice. The purpose was to introduce CME providers to basic tools used in improvement science. CME providers participating in that onsite activity have access to five follow-up video casts.
