02.11 - Addleton and other CME leaders featured in broadcast

ReachMD, the nation’s fastest growing media communications provider for medical professionals, will broadcast a series of discussions featuring coverage of the 36th Annual Alliance for Continuing Medical Education Conference that was held in San Francisco in January 2011.

The first week of programming premiers this week, and the second program in the series will air the week of February 21.  Both can be heard by satellite radio XM 160 subscribers.

The theme of the conference - Blending Adult Learning Facilitation and Individual/Organizational Performance - provided the opportunity for medical educators and planners from various specialties to share best practices, and discuss broader issues and concerns within the continuing medical education (CME) community.

The host for this conference coverage is Lawrence Sherman, FACME, CCMEP, Senior Vice President, Educational Strategy at Prova Education, an affiliate of Omnia Education – an ACCME – accredited provider.  Join him as he and his guests discuss increasing clinical relevance in continuing medical education, new trends toward team-based education, and how social media tools are getting involved.
