The Physicians' Institute for Excellence in Medicine offered an educational opportunity for Georgia and Florida CME providers and physicians who were interested in performance improvement activities designed to improve clinical practice. The workshop immediately followed the Medical Association of Georgia/Florida Medical Association CME Providers Conference.
This program for physician practices with physician speakers and EMR vendors featured live demonstrations, along with special presentations on "The Law and Electronic Medical Records," along with a physician panel.
GA A two-day training program for CME professionals and physicians, this well-attended meeting included sessions on Performance Gaps (Systematic Care, Measurement and Information Technology), Choosing and Applying Guidelines, Planning Your Intervention (Linking CME to Desired Outcomes), Measuring the Impact of Efforts to Reduce Performance Gaps, and Funding Opportunities in CV Disease.
